SummerPrep

SummerPrep, Sandia Prep’s summer program, offers safe and small summer camp classes for students from any school in Pre-K through high school.

With more than 50 art, STEM, academic, and athletic classes, students learn new skills and build on existing talents. We foster discovery and exploration and encourage students to enjoy themselves in a safe, supportive environment.

Bosque Summer

We are so excited to offer in-person programs this summer! With Bosque Summer, you can build your own adventure with the flexibility of our half and full-day programs for students entering grades K–12. Manzano Day School Summer Discovery

Manzano Day School is offering an in-person summer program for

children 3 1/2 to 11 years old. Our Summer Discovery Program will run
from June 7 – July 16, 2021. Students will meet at Manzano Day
School’s campus 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday. We are also
offering a half-day program that will meet 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. The
cost of the full-day program is $985.00, and the cost for the half-day
program is $750.00.

Our Summer Discovery Program focuses on inspiring Joy in Learning®
through child-centered, hands-on activities. Program activities will
include reading, writing, math, science, movement, games, music, art,
and more. Manzano Day School is keeping the health and safety of our

CNM’s Suncat Summer

Summer sports season is ramping up! There are so many opportunities for children of all ages to participate in a fun high energy activity and what perfect opportunity than with i9 Sports this summer!!

i9 Sports offers coed youth flag football, soccer, basketball, baseball, volleyball, cheer, and lacrosse for boys and girls ages 3-14. Our program is geared with the busy parent in mind. Practice is held only on game day. There are no tryouts or fundraisers. All coaches go through a background check and are certified.

Requests are accepted so friends/siblings can be on the same team if they are in the same age division. We will also offer Multi-Sport Camps and Sport Focused Clinics during the week!

National Museum of Nuclear Science & History

Young scientists, Pre-K through 7th grade, won’t want to miss a minute of this year’s in-person “Science is Everywhere” Summer Camps at the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History! These incredible week-long learning adventures will run June 1 – August 6. Campers will experience the wonders of science in sessions that include “Surviving Zombies,” “Minecraft Madness,” “Awesome Ozobots” and many more. Register online.

Our education team will divide camp topics into week-long camps that are multi-age collaborative camper experiences. The camp programs run from 8:30 am-3:30 pm. Before-care is available from 7:30-8:30 am and after-care from 3:30-5:30 pm. There is no additional cost for before- and after-care, and they are available regardless of the camper’s use. Each in person camp will maintain strict CDC safety protocols with small camp ratios. All campers and staff must wear face masks and pass a daily COVID-19.

Nose to Toes Yoga

Nose to Toes Yoga and Art Camp will have 2 fun-filled sessions of camp on 4 days during the week this summer.

Ages 4-8 on June 22-25 and ages 9-13 on July 13-16.

Here your little yogi will be introduced to age appropriate postures and breathing practices. As we bend and stretch, we start to build strength, flexibility and balance. Our art program has us create meditation jars, wave breath bottles, mala bracelets, mandala plates and so much more!

Architecture + Design Summer Academy

Architecture + Design Summer Academy—organized by UNM’s School of Architecture and Planning—will introduce high school juniors and seniors to SPACING (Architecture), SCAPING (Landscape Architecture), URBING (Urban Design and Community Planning) and ZERVING (Historic Preservation), through hands-on workshops, design exercises and field trips.

Sessions will be held in Albuquerque from June 21-July 2, 2021, and in Santa Fe from July 12-23, 2021.

During each two-week session, teens will have the opportunity to study with several instructors, including A+P faculty and renowned professionals from around the country. There will be lectures on diverse topics in architecture and design, and a Rail Runner excursion from one city to the other, to explore the contrasting urban design in Albuquerque and Santa Fe.

Student work produced at ADSA will be presented in a public exhibition at UNM’s George Pearl Hall in September 2021.
