The Montessori Elementary & Middle School

The Montessori Elementary & Middle School
Established in 2005, The Montessori Elementary & Middle School (TMEMS) is a charter school authorized by the New Mexico Public Education Commission. They are recognized as a Spotlight School by the NMPED for being in the Top 15% of schools in New Mexico. TMEMS currently serves students from kindergarten through eighth grade from Albuquerque and the surrounding areas. Coral Community Charter School

21st Century Public Academy is a free public charter school located on Cutler Avenue in Northeast Albuquerque. For the past 24 years, they have been serving students in 1st through 8th grades. Rio Grande Arts

The mission of Rio Grande Academy of Fine Arts (RioGAFA) is to educate students through an arts-integration curriculum that promotes problem solving and creativity and supports all K-12 students to achieve grade-level standards. Arts integration, as defined by the Kennedy Arts Center, “is an approach to teaching in which students construct and demonstrate understanding through an art form. Students engage in the creative process which connects an art form and another subject area and meets evolving objectives in both.” RioGAFA currently offers arts such as creative writing, culinary, dance, drama, media, music, and visual arts. RioGAFA also contracts with different local artists each year to provide a variety of options for students that are unique to each school year.  RioGAFA is currently accepting applications for grades K-3 and 6-8 for the 2024-2025 school year.
