Here are a few reasons why you should book your session ASAP:
Your kiddos are not getting any smaller.
I have been photographing families for years now and truly never realized just how quickly the kids grow up until I had my own. It happens so fast and someday the only thing you have to look back on is photographs of them! Freeze this time with them before you blink and another year has come and gone.
The colorful leaves don’t last long.
Once the leaves turn, they only last about two weeks before they are falling off and we are facing the beginning of winter. Often times people will flood our inbox with booking requests once they see the leaves have turned and we are usually already booked up!
It takes time to edit and deliver the photos.
Allow us 2-3 weeks after your session for getting your final galleries to you. It takes time to edit through all of the beautiful photos for each family! We promise it will be hard to choose which photos to put on your cards and even harder to choose which ones to hang up in your home.
Plan for the time it takes to order, receive, and mail your Holiday cards.
Whether you choose Shutterfly, Vistaprint, Zazzle, or even Walmart to order your cards, it takes time to have them printed and shipped to you. Keep in mind thousands of other families are ordering their cards too!
Then you have to remember to actually mail them out on time. This is by far the hardest step of it all for us. I’m pretty sure we have not sent cards out until the holidays are already over every year because life just gets too busy and we forget to make a trip to the post office.

I know photos can be stressful–picking your outfits, making sure everyone is in a good mood, getting everyone ready. It can be a daunting task. Our focus is not for you to all show up picture perfect and expect the kids to sit still and smile (because they just won’t). We are all about having fun, creating new memories, playing games, and capturing candid, in-the-moment memories that you will cherish for a lifetime, even after the holidays are over! This is a stress-free photography experience.
