Albuquerque Neighborhood Egg Hunt

0

Albuquerque area families may not be able to attend some of our favorite egg hunts and spring events this year, but with a little help from our neighbors, we can still go on an neighborhood egg hunt while practicing social distancing.

Similar to the “bear hunts” and “chalk walks” we’ve seen popping up in neighborhoods all over America, our egg hunt works best if lots of neighbors (young and old) participate. So spread the word in your local neighborhood!

How It Works

Download and print the Easter egg coloring page.

Decorate your favorite egg any way that you want!

Display your egg(s) in your windows by Wednesday, April 8th.

Egg Hunt April 8th – 12th

Go on an egg hunt with your family to see how many eggs you can find! *Don’t forget* to take a picture of the beautiful eggs you find. Let’s see how many neighborhoods get represented! (You may want to post on your own NextDoor app that you want your neighborhood to participate!) Or maybe you can print some out for your neighbors!

Share on Social Media to Encourage Others to Participate

Facebook: Add your fun photos to the Albuquerque Moms Blog thread and tag when sharing them!

Instagram: Share them to your image feed or add them to your stories! Tag us @albuquerquemomsblog and use the hashtag #abqmomegghunt to be featured!

Let’s have an egg-cellent time and see how many ABQ area neighborhoods are represented!

We’d like to thank our partner, Tutor Doctor, for sponsoring our Neighborhood Egg Hunt.

Tutor Doctor is your local go-to resource during this time of at-home learning. If you are like most parents, you may be feeling overwhelmed at the thought of facilitating your child’s learning for the next few months. However, Tutor Doctor has created a free online Facebook Group where parents, students, teachers, and tutors can all come together and provide resources for one another during this unprecedented time in education.

Tutor Doctor also offers online tutoring sessions for students who need extra help or are wanting to improve on their X-Skills (executive skills) for when traditional school starts up again. Currently, they are offering a FREE 1 hour session with their online tutoring platform affectionately called Bramble (click here to watch a short video about this amazing platform!) In addition, they offer multiple child tutoring discount $5hr/1st child, $10hr/2nd, 3rd child, etc.
