Since February is American Heart Month, we thought this would be as good a time as any to provide a list of workout gear recommendations. I always find that if I have the right gear and/or equipment, I’m more likely to do the heart-healthy thing and move my body.
Here’s our team’s list of workout gear we love.
Endurance Bra from Kiava
Brittany recommends this Endurance Bra from Kiava. The creator of it designed it while running marathons. It’s stylish and supportive. Not to mention it comes in so many colors and sizes.
Healthish Water Bottle
April is a fan of the Healthish Water Bottle. If you have a hard time remembering to get your daily water intake (GUILTY!), this water bottle’s time prompts help you stay hydrated throughout the day.
Resistance Bands
If you follow Alyssa on Instagram, you’d know she loves a good home workout. (Seriously, she’s so motivating!) She recommends these resistance bands to get in your strength training in your own living room.
Brooks Running Shoes
Erin loves her Brooks Running Shoes. If you’re going to pound the pavement, make sure to get the right shoes to protect those tootsies.
Leggings from Amazon
Paige says these leggings for sale on Amazon are really similar to the super-popular Lululemon Align. They aren’t as buttery soft, but they look almost identical. Not to mention, they’re a fraction of the cost.
Aftershokz Headphones
Cari is a runner and really likes Aftershokz Headphones because you can still hear your surroundings while wearing them. Safety first, ladies!
Joylab Workout Clothes
Angelica really likes Joylab Workout Clothes available at Target. She says they are good quality, affordable, and come in curvy girl sizes. Winning.
Fitbit
Erin likes to know how many steps she gets in each day. Track those steps and more with a good activity tracker like a Fitbit.
Old Navy Workout Maternity Pants
Nicole is currently pregnant and has found that she really likes these maternity workout pants from Old Navy.
Hydro Flask
They’re distinct. They’re trendy. They keep your water cold. And Charlie loves ’em. You can’t do better than a Hydro Flask stainless steel water bottle.
Zyia
Clarissa loves to support other women by purchasing Zyia Active workout clothes.
Tek Gear Sports Bra
Sara just bought this sports bra at Kohl’s and loved it so much she went back and bought four more! She says it’s so comfy and supportive, which is great because ya know, mom boobs. (Her words, not mine!)
