Calling All STAR WARS Moms :: Who Else Is Excited for December 20th?

0

Fellow STAR WARS moms, the latest and last STAR WARS film The Rise of Skywalker will be released on December 20th. Who else is headed to the movies that night?

Raise your hand if you’re as excited about this as I am. Stand proud if you used your dad’s socks to make two buns in your hair so you could dress up as Princess Leia when you were little. And two extra points if you owned your own light saber.

I can anticipate just what will happen when I try to go see this movie that I’m so looking forward to.

Date night seems so elusive. The cancelling babysitter is the phantom menace to the best laid plans! When I’m finally dressed and ready to go, my twin children act out. It’s the attack of the clones! I put on my serious face and let them all know…this is my night on the town. They better let me go, or they’ll face the revenge of the sith.

So STAR WARS Moms, here’s my advice to you for this finale to the greatest move franchise. Make it happen!

It’s important! Whether you’re going solo or along with your favorite rogue, one thing you should remember is that each movie brings a new hope that this time…when the empire strikes back, it will bring the return of the Jedi. And with it, the internal realization that the force awakens in each of us a desire for more. A cry that each film might not be the last. Jedi hearts rise, shouting from our chests for the rise of Skywalker, so the legend foretold in a galaxy far, far away may finally fulfill the prophecy.

So, yeah! Get that babysitter! And join the dark side of the theater, with buttery, popcorn hands and a happy heart. May the force be with you, STAR WARS Mom!
