Katie grew up in California and came to Albuquerque for college where she met her husband.  They spent the beginning of their marriage traveling and teaching. Katie welcomed her baby girl in December of 2017. After five years teaching elementary students, Katie is transitioning to opening Sweet Pea Bakery in 2021.  When she’s not chasing a toddler Katie loves traveling, reading, and eating delicious food.
