Mom Groups in Albuquerque

They say that it takes a village to raise your children. So many people, including myself, have found this statement to be so true. Making friends as an adult is hard, and it can be even harder to find mama friends. You need to find mom groups, a mom squad, or whatever you want to call it.

Thank you to Lovelace Health System for sponsoring this guide.

Expecting a baby is an exciting and life-changing journey. Lovelace would like to make your experience as memorable and stress-free as possible by helping you navigate your health care. No matter your insurance or birthing plan, our Labor of Love program offers you access to free pregnancy perks and assistance finding a doctor or insurance.

Lovelace Birthing Centers help bring more than 3,000 babies into the world each year with the help of our dedicated obstetricians, certified nurse midwives, obstetrical anesthesiologists, neonatologists, perinatologists, and nurses. Your birthing team will become familiar with your health history and guide you in forming a pregnancy plan that is ideal for you and your family.

When it comes time to deliver at one of our Lovelace Birthing Centers, you can expect exceptional, comfortable, and convenient care. Throughout labor and delivery, our new parents stay in one of our comfortable, private, birthing suites. Equipped with the latest technology, each room is designed for a relaxed, comfortable birth experience.

We are excited to be part of your prenatal care and delivery so that your experience is as safe, healthy, and pleasant as possible.

Why do I need a mom group?

If you are anything like me, you run to your own mom for advice. My mom raised me and my siblings, and we all turned out okay, so why would I not go to her? It’s also so important to have mom friends, especially mom friends that have kids the same ages as yours. There are so many questions that come with motherhood. What newborn items do I need? How are people potty training these days? What do I need to travel with a toddler? You can google it or you can turn to your mom group.
