Spending time inside all day is not ideal, especially with a house full of fully energized kiddos. Luckily, so many of our local favorites are creating online activities for learning, entertainment, and just plain fun for the babes and for YOU. Check out our guide to local online events.

Explora

While all museums are closed, Explora has got your kiddos (and you!) covered with lots of fun STEM activities. They have activities such as storytime, experiments, and much more posted daily on their Facebook page and YouTube Page.

Harmonic Kids

Harmonic Kids has introduced their 10-week Sing, Dance, and Play at home sessions, Music Together Online. Music Together Online is a package of online music experiences and resources that creates a comprehensive music learning program. With one interactive class a week, a private Facebook group, and more, you can guarantee a great time with the kids.

For your little athletes wanting to maintain their skills– or just wanting to move their body, i9 is offering FREE daily skills, drills, and workouts as well as fun activities!

Katharsis Media

Katharsis Media is a local organization that offers a multitude of classes for all ages. Currently they are offering online kid ballet classes and a digital drama club. You can find these events on their Facebook page

Keshet

Is your little dancer missing their weekly classes? Keshet is offering a variety of online classes for many age groups on their YouTube page. As well as weekly Zoom live classes– in the events of their Facebook page

The Little Gym

The Little Gym of Albuquerque is offering The Little Gym at Home, which includes classes, story times, and other activities to keep those little ones busy and active. Check out their Facebook page for all the details.

Mountain Eagle Karate Academy

Karate offers multiple benefits to those practicing. In order to keep participants active, Mountain Eagle Karate Academy is offering free online classes. Find the links for the zoom classes here.

Nature Niños New Mexico

Nature Niños New Mexico is an initiative created by the New Mexico Wildlife Federation to emphasize the importance of learning and playing outdoors. Twice a week Nature Niños is offering virtual classes- each with a new theme or story. Check out their schedule for more info and zoom links here.

New Life Birth Services

New Life is offering virtual support groups. These support groups are a safe space to discuss your feelings surrounding pregnancy and/or postpartum, external stressors, and to connect with other pregnant or postpartum people. Each meeting is tailored to the needs of the group and includes a valuable info-sharing segment concerning pregnancy, birth, or postpartum. The are also offering Virtual Prenatal Yoga with MJ Montoya. These prenatal yoga classes are focused on creating comfort, relaxation, strength and connection for both you and your baby. As well as help prepare you for labor and birth. Register here.

New Mexico BioPark

“Your dose of Vitamin Z (for Zoo!)” are releasing videos on their YouTube page that feature different zoo residents. The videos are released weekly. (If you are an email subscribed member, you get access a few days before the general public.) These can serve as a learning tool or just a quick trip to the BioPark from your couch.

Sweat Yoga Studio

Sweat yoga studio is offering a variety of classes on their YouTube page. The classes range in length, as well as types. Looking for chair yoga? Pilates? HIIT? They have all this and more. Bringing zen to your living room.
