Bristol Doughnut Co.

Nothing warms you up on a chilly day like a bowl of posole from Duran’s. Grab a jar of chile sauce to go with your holiday meals.

El Modelo

1715 Second St SW Albuquerque NM 87102

Tamales are also a must during the holiday season. El Modelo is one of top places to purchase tamales! You can get them pre-rolled, or purchase all the ingredients to roll your own at home.

Flying Star

Six different locations around Albuquerque.

Flying Star is a go-to for holiday pies and cakes. They have such a variety of flavors including Praline Toffee Bread Pudding with Rum Sauce. They also make their own posole verde.

Golden Crown Panderia

The staple holiday cookie in New Mexico is the biscochito. Golden Crown Panderia serves different varieties and comes very highly recommended! Don’t forget to try an empanada while you’re at it.

Great Harvest Bakery

1200 Montgomery Blvd NE Suite #4 Albuquerque, NM 87111

All of your bread and roll needs for this holiday season in ALL of the flavors. Also, their sweets deserve their own section. My personal faves are the green chile cheddar rolls and the caramel apple scone.

La Reforma

Beer + food. The perfect duo this season! Try their posole paired with one of their seasonal brews.

With cakes, desserts, and all the homemade treats, you’re sure to find the perfect thing to compliment your meal. One of our contributors suggests the Chocolate Yule Log!
